Student Life & Clubs
At Virtualis, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. A full classical formation includes fellowship, creativity, and joyful engagement with the world. While Virtualis does not create artificial or redundant extracurricular programs, we intentionally connect families to rich offerings already provided through our partner, Great Hearts Academies.
Great Hearts In-Person Opportunities
Families who live near a Great Hearts brick-and-mortar campus may be eligible to participate in:
- Athletics: Soccer, volleyball, basketball, cross-country, and more.
- Clubs: Debate, robotics, chess, art, and science fairs.
- Fine Arts: Choir, orchestra, theater productions, and visual arts exhibitions.
Participation is subject to the policies and availability of each Great Hearts location. Families must inquire directly with the local campus for eligibility.
Virtual & Remote Participation
For families not located near a Great Hearts campus, we help explore virtual enrichment opportunities such as:
- Online clubs aligned with classical learning—literature, science, logic, and languages
- Web-based competitions including spelling bees, writing contests, and academic Olympiads
- Live webinars, guest lectures, and Socratic discussion forums
Collaboration with Families
We know that student life cannot be templated—it must grow organically. As we get to know our families, we work to:
- Identify local extracurricular programs that reflect classical values
- Connect families with similar goals to form peer groups, meetups, and cooperative clubs
- Support the development of parent-led initiatives that honor the mind, body, and soul
Formation doesn’t stop at instruction. Through genuine relationships and shared purpose, we help cultivate a student life that is rich, joyful, and enduring.
Formation in All Arenas
Whether on the soccer field, on stage, in a student-led club, or in community outreach, the mission remains the same: to pursue the good, the true, and the beautiful—together. At Virtualis, we’re not building programs for appearance. We’re cultivating partnerships for formation.
